We are looking for great volunteers for the 2019-20 school year to help year-round or just for certain events! If you are interested, please complete and return the form to the front office or you can email it to: email@example.com
PTO Donations and Membership: $10 per family! WHAT WE DO WITH THE MONEY WE RAISE: REWARDS: Rewards for grades and for hard work; participation prizes. EDUCATION: PTO helps get programs and educational items for students, school and teachers. BUILDING IMPROVEMENTS: We’ve been asked to help with purchasing bookshelves for classrooms. We are considering helping the school with outdoor tables and patio cover. FUN: Teacher and Staff Luncheons 3 times a year; School Dances; STAAR Snacks; Ice cream parties; Pizza parties.
We will have other fundraisers throughout the year. While dues are not required for membership, the PTO depends on your donations to do many things for children and staff of Irons Jr High. If you choose not to make any donations, we still appreciate your involvement and your time contributed to support our school.
Required Immunizations: If you are a parent or guardian of an incoming seventh grader for the 2019- 2020 school year, please be aware Texas state law requires all students to have paperwork indicating receipt of the following immunizations before they can begin the first day of school: TDAP and MCV. If your immunizations are not up-to-date you will not receive a schedule at orientation.
