WHAT WE DO WITH THE MONEY WE RAISE:  REWARDS: Rewards for grades and for hard work; participation prizes. EDUCATION: PTO helps get programs and educational items for students,  school and teachers. BUILDING IMPROVEMENTS: We are considering helping the school with outdoor tables and patio cover. FUN: Teacher and Staff Luncheons 3 times a year; School Dances; STAAR Snacks; Ice cream parties; Pizza parties.
PTO Donations and Membership: recommended $10 per family! 

 We will have other fundraisers throughout the year. While dues are not required for membership, the PTO depends on your donations to do many things for children and staff of Irons Jr High. If you choose not to make any donations, we still appreciate your involvement and your time contributed to support our school.

Required Immunizations: If you are a parent or guardian of an incoming seventh grader for the 2020-2021 school year, please be aware Texas state law requires all students to have paperwork indicating receipt of the following immunizations before they can begin the first day of school: TDAP and MCV. If your immunizations are not up-to-date you will not receive a schedule at orientation.






General Meetings of Irons Junior High PTO are generally held at 9 am on the first Friday of each month. Meetings are open to all parents and guardians of Irons Junior High students

We are always looking for great volunteers. 

Main requirements for volunteers:  Be sure to fill out the CISD volunteer form online and get the approval letter. Email us your contact info and we'll keep you informed of how you can 
help with the PTO events for teachers and students (teachers' luncheons, the school dance, staff birthdays), and fundraising activities.  The PTO welcomes you to join our meetings, generally held on the first Friday of each month at 9:00am in the Teachers’ Lounge. Meeting dates and activities will be posted regularly on the PTO’s website, Facebook and via Remind (text @76bc9b to 81010).
